Having worked as a news reporter at The Independent for two years, I have covered some of the world's biggest stories from the Brexit vote and Donald Trump's election to the refugee crisis and the Grenfell Tower fire

As lead reporter on the Grenfell Tower fire for The Independent, I regularly submit written and video reports from public meetings and I am used to reporting from the ground. I have secured multiple interviews with survivors and advocacy groups and have developed a roster of key contacts including MPs Diane Abbott and Emma Dent Coad. My tenacity and respectful perseverance has allowed me to uncover a host of exclusive, front-page stories since the fire in June 2017.

From UK politics to foreign affairs and humanitarian issues, I write news articles, live blogs, news features, explainers and commentary on the biggest news stories of the day around the world.

I am also used to collaborating with other teams and regularly produce video articles and social campaigns.

I am a passionate advocate for endometriosis awareness and menstrual health and regularly pitch exclusive stories on these topics
